When your ball lands in the Rough/Bunker, your shot distance will be reduced because of the influence of Debuff. You will see the exact percentage of distance reduced when taking a shot.

Some Legendary Clubs, such as Bone Claw or Shuttle, have the Debuff ability that lets you reduce the influence of debuffs on your shot.

Also, some Special Balls can come in use, as the Power ability will reduce the influence of Debuff by providing extra strength. According to the level of the Special Ball's Power, you will have:

Level 1 ➡️ 2% extra power

Level 2 ➡️ 4% extra power

Level 3 ➡️ 6% extra power

For example, when you use level 9 Earth club with 295 Power and a Special Ball with Level 2 Power ability, your power would be 295 + 295*4% = 306.8.
